Can I scan multi-instrumental sheet music and scores? #

Yes! After scanning your sheet music you are asked to select instruments for the different voices detected in the sheet.
Can I scan printed and handwritten scores with Scan2Notes? #
Currently, Scan2Notes is specifically trained to automatically detect printed sheet music. The resulting scan from handwritten scores can thus vary extremely depending on the type of your handwriting.
Can I scan guitar or bass TABs and drum notations? #
Scan2Notes is capable of detecting standard sheet music notation. Drum notation aswell as Tabs are currently not supported.
Which musical symbols can Scan2Notes detect? #
Scan2Notes can detect most standard musical symbols commonly found in printed sheet music. This includes notes, rhythms, clefs, key signatures, time signatures, ties, and slurs. Expression markings like dynamics, articulations (e.g. accents, staccato), and grace notes are currently not supported. Our detection focuses on the structural elements needed for playback and analysis of scores. We’re continually working to expand what the app can recognize in future updates.
