Audio:
- .wav
- .mp3
- .mpeg
- .aiff
- .ogg
- .flac
- .midi
- .mid
- .vnd.wave
- .m4a
- .x-m4a
- .x-wav
- .x-aiff
- .vorbis
- .x-mpegurl
You can also upload videos encoded in the “.mp4” format.
Of course, the audio within these files are crucial to the quality of the transcription. Learn more about that, in this article.
Size and Length of the File
You can upload files that are up to 15 Minutes long and have a size of 100 MB. If you want to transcribe a song that is shorter than 15 Minutes but bigger than 100 MB, you can compress it into a .mp3 file. Simply google for “compress mp3 online” to find a tool that works for you. One example would be Freeconvert.
Note, that a demo transcriptions will only transcribe the first 20 seconds of the uploaded audio, while a full transcription will transcribe the whole song.
