If you want to know more about the premium features of the Klangio Subscriptions, then you’ve come to the right place. In this article, I will explain what exactly the Klangio Subscriptions are.
What Klangio Subscriptions are there? #
There are two kinds of subscriptions:
- Pro Subscriptions: Access to the pro version of one of the Klangio apps (like Klangio Transcription Studio, Piano2Notes, Guitar2Tabs, …).
- Universe Subscription: Access to the pro version of all the Klangio apps.
These Subscriptions are currently available for:
Melody Scanner and has a different set of subscriptions and is not included in the Universe Subscription. Check out this article if you’re curious about Melody Scanner.
Scan2Notes is also not a part of the Universe Subscription. Just like Melody Scanner, it has its own set of Yearly and Monthly Pro Subscriptions.
The Klangio Studio Pro subscription grants you premium access to Klangio Transcription Studio aswell as the Klangio Transcription Plugin
What do I gain from a Klangio Subscription? #
With a subscription, you receive a certain amount of Klangio Tickets every month, with which you can turn demo transcriptions into full transcriptions.
This allows you to transcribe full songs and access premium features, like downloading MIDI, MusicXML and GuitarPro files and the Edit Mode.
Every month, your tickets will get reset to the monthly amount listed in your subscription:
Universe Subscription: 250 Tickets every Month.
Single Klangio App Subscription: 50 Tickets every Month.
How can I start a Klangio Subscription? #
Check out our pricing table which you can find on the individual product pages, like Piano2Notes for example, or by upgrading your demo transcription. You can also find details about accepted payment methods there.
How do I cancel my Klangio Subscription? #
Of course, you can cancel your subscription at any time with just a view clicks. Check out this article if you need a guide.
After canceling your subscription, your remaining tickets will stay on your account until your subscription expires.

Visit klang.io, open the Products menu at the top of the page, select an app, and scroll down to view its pricing table.
At the moment, subscriptions cannot be switched directly between apps, and upgrading to Universe with one click is not yet supported. To change your subscription, please:
Cancel your current subscription (your existing transcriptions will remain in your account).
Purchase the subscription you want to switch or upgrade to.

Studio subscription: Includes Klangio Transcription Studio and Klangio Transcription Plugin only.
Universe subscription: Includes all Klangio apps, including Transcription Studio and the Transcription Plugin.
Exceptions: Melody Scanner and Scan2Notes are not included in the Universe subscription.
After subscribing via our website, you will receive a confirmation mail to the email address used for your account. You can also check the current state of your subscription by logging into your account (please be sure to use the same login method as used for signing up). You can then click on the 3 bars in the top right corner to open the sidebar and then open your “Account Info.” Here you will find information on the current status of your subscription and the amount of tickets left for the month.
In general, if you have a subscription for one of our apps (e.g. Piano2Notes), you can also use the corresponding mobile app. Please be sure to log in using the same login method as used for signing up. The app for Klangio Transcription Studio is still in development and is planned to be released later this year on both the iOS and Android app stores.
At the moment, we don’t offer a classic lifetime license or permanent one‑time payment for our subscriptions. However, you can purchase a Klangio gift card, which contains a fixed amount of non‑expiring tickets for one of our apps. This way, you pay once and can use the included full transcriptions whenever you like.

Our bulk transcription service can be used for larger amounts of transcriptions (100+ tracks) needed all at once. https://klang.io/bulk-transcription For smaller amounts (fewer than 100 songs), we recommend purchasing a subscription to our apps, which offer 50 tickets per month, or with our Universe Subscription, even 250 transcriptions per month. You can also use our Klangio Transcription Studio, which offers unlimited (fair use policy applies) transcriptions.

The early-bird discount for Klangio Studio was a limited-time introductory offer during the launch and testing phase. Since the studio is now fully live and running smoothly, this early-bird discount is no longer available. The prices currently displayed at checkout are the valid regular prices.
