What are Klangio Tickets?

Tickets are used to upgrade a demo transcription to a full transcription, so you can unlock all of the features of the Klangio apps. Melody Scanner is using a different system. Check out this article to find out more.

How do I get Klangio Tickets? #

There are multiple ways to acquire tickets:

Where can I see my Tickets? #

Klangio on your browser: Click on the menu at the top right corner of your screen and select “Manage Account.” Here you can see the amount of tickets available on your account / app. Tickets are divided into Account Tickets (e.g. purchased via a gift card) and Subscription Tickets (tickets left for the month in a running subscription).

Klangio mobile apps: You can see the amount of tickets at the top right corner of your screen.

When will my Tickets expire? #

Tickets received via our subscriptions are reset every month.
For example, if your plan includes 50 tickets per month, you can use up to 50 tickets within that month. At the start of the next billing cycle, your ticket balance is set back to 50. Unused tickets do not carry over or accumulate.

If you cancel your subscription, any remaining subscription tickets stay available until the end of your billing period. After your subscription expires, unused subscription tickets are removed from your account.

Tickets purchased via a Giftcard can be used anytime you like, and you don’t need to worry about them expiring!

Will Tickets be used on failed Transcriptions? #

No, if your transcription fails (for whatever reason), the ticket is automatically refunded back to your account.

Can my Tickets be used for any Klangio App? #

This depends on your subscription. The Universe subscription’s tickets can be used for multiple Klangio apps, while a subscription for a single app (like Piano2Notes Pro) is only usable for the app that you have acquired the subscription for.

How Can I Refund a Ticket? #

If you’re not pleased with the quality of a transcription or simply started a full transcription by accident, you can use the retranscribe or the refund feature to fix the errors or get back your ticket to use it on a different transcription.

I have a subscription. When will my tickets reset?

Your monthly ticket quota resets once a month for both monthly and annual subscriptions.
Your first reset happens exactly one month after your purchase date.
The exact time may vary slightly.

How does the Fair Use Policy work on the “Unlimited” plan?

On our Unlimited plan (so far available as our Klangio Studio Pro subscription), you can create as many transcriptions as you like for your own use. To prevent misuse, we apply a Fair Use Policy with a soft limit of 1,000 full transcriptions per month. Very few musicians ever reach this. If you regularly need more, please contact us, and we will find a solution.

What happens to leftover tickets after cancelling my subscription?

Your tickets can be used until the end of the subscription’s billing period. After that, they will no longer be available. Tickets not bound to the subscription will not expire.
